Instagram shows profile pictures as a small circle, with no way to open or save the image. This tool fetches the picture from the account's public profile page, so you can see it on its own and keep a copy. Type a username — with or without the @ — or paste a link to the profile, and the picture appears with a one-tap download.

A profile picture is public even on a private account, so this works whether or not you follow the person — while their posts, Reels and stories stay private. How to download an Instagram profile picture

Copy the username from the top of the profile (or use the account's share menu to copy the profile link). Paste it into the box above and press Get picture. The DP loads with a Download button — on a computer and on Android it saves to your Downloads folder; on iPhone, Safari saves it through the share sheet into the Files app, from where you can move it into Photos.
