How to download a Pinterest image
Open the pin you want, tap the share icon and choose Copy link — or copy the pinterest.com/pin/… address straight from your browser's bar. Paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Download. The image comes back ready to save, with no quality menu to work through.
On a computer and on Android the file lands in your Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari saves it through the share sheet into Files; open Files, tap the image and choose Save Image to move it into Photos.
Why a right-click gives you a blurry image
Pinterest serves every pin at several sizes — 236, 474 and 736 pixels wide — and the one your browser shows is usually the 736px copy. Save that and you get exactly those pixels, which look soft the moment you zoom, print or crop.
The uncompressed file the pinner actually uploaded sits on Pinterest's servers under a different address. This tool reads the pin, finds that original and hands you that file instead, so what you save is as sharp as what was posted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download Pinterest images in full resolution?+−
Yes. This tool requests the original file rather than the size-limited copy the page displays, so you get the same pixels the pinner uploaded. If the original itself was small, that smaller size is genuinely all that exists — no tool can add detail that was never there.
Do I need an account or an app?+−
No. It runs in your browser, there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Paste a link and save the image.
Does it work for video pins?+−
No — this page is for images. If you paste a video pin it will say so and point you at the Pinterest video downloader, which handles those.
Can I download images from a private board?+−
No. Only public pins can be read. If a pin sits on a secret board, or the pin has been deleted, there is nothing publicly available to fetch.
Is there a watermark on the download?+−
No. You get the original file untouched — nothing is added, re-encoded or stamped onto it.
